A Home Inspection Is A Must.
A professional home inspection is arguably the most important stage in the home buying process. No matter how well a home may show, you never know what lies behind what you see. Get an inspection before committing to a purchase contract, or at a minimum include an inspection clause as a condition in your purchase offer. This will give you the option of canceling the offer or renegotiating the offer in unforeseen problems are uncovered.

Never rely on an inspection arranged by the seller. You deserve the confidence of an unbiased assessment of a home’s condition by your own Flagstaff home inspector. The Inspection Process
Your buyer-agent will be glad to recommend a home inspection firm. You should plan to be present during the inspection to be sure a thorough process takes place. It’s also an opportunity to become familiar with the operation of all systems and to quiz your inspector about possible repair costs which will help you prepare for a possible renegotiation of selling price.

Once the home inspection is finished, the inspector will prepare a detailed report of findings. It will be up to you to determine the next course of action if major or minor problems are exposed. If you happen to get a stellar assessment, you’ll have comfort in knowing the home you are about to purchase is in good condition.
