Canyon Vista CampgroundCanyon Vista Campground is only 6 miles southeast of Flagstaff, Arizona and is located just northwest of Lower Lake Mary along Lake Mary Road. It is surrounded by a forest of Ponderosa pine. mixed conifer, oak and aspen trees and features great views of the San Francisco Peaks. Sandy's Canyon Trail is just north of the campground which has access into Walnut Canyon and Arizona Trail. About The CampgroundThere are 11 single unit campsites each with tables, fire rings and cooking grills. Drinking water and vault toilets are available during the open season which is generally early May through September. Day use for picnics is permitted with limited day time hours and reduced fees. Reservations are not accepted. It is first-come, first serve. Because it is close to Flagstaff, it fills-up quickly during the peak of summer. So get there early to claim your camping spot.
