Although Kachina Village, built in the 1970s is an older community with many of its homes over 30 years-old, it is a family oriented setting surrounded by tall pine trees. Located just seven miles south of downtown Flagstaff Arizona to the west of Interstate 17, it shares the great seasonal weather that attracts people to the Flagstaff AZ area. Portions of Kachina Village share a common border with Forest Highlands, an exclusive private gated golf community while other parts of Kachina border the National Forest Service.

You will discover a wide range of diverse housing in Kachina Village from very modest houses, manufactured homes and mobile homes to luxury estates. There are nice areas and then there are much nicer areas. Single family homes sell in the $200,00 to $600,00 range with mobile homes and manufactured homes ranging from $70,000 to $300,000.

There are real estate bargains in Kachina particularly at the lower-end of the pricing scale. Residents are mixed between full time and seasonal residents. The community of Mountainaire, which has a similar makeup of homes and lots, is located just east of Kachina on the west side of Interstate 17. Munds Park (Pinewood) is located about 15 miles south of Kachina Village
