Lakeview CampgroundLakeview Campground is located in the Coconino National Forest 13 miles southeast of Flagstaff Arizona. Access is via Lake Mary Road. The campground sets directly across Lake Mary Road from Upper Lake Mary but the campsites have an easy, one-mile walking access to the lake on Wood Memorial Trail. The terraced, hillside camping sites are tucked among older stands of Ponderosa Pine trees and feature views of the lake which is populated with a variety of fish including trout, bass, Northern Pike and catfish. Upper Lake Mary is the only lake in the area with no limit on boat motor size. About The Camping SitesThere are 30 single unit camp sites each including table, fire ring and cooking grill. Common facilities include 3 vault-type toilets. Drinking water is available during its open season when a host is on-site. The campground is available for day- use for picnics at reduced fees and limited day time hours. Camping fees are charged. Call the Flagstaff Ranger District for current campsite fees at 928-526-0866. There is a boat ramp at the lake. If you plan to visit the lake for day-use picnics, the Lake Mary Narrows Picnic Area is south of the lake where fishing is permitted. Arizona fishing licenses are required. Watch for roaming herds of elk and deer.
